The monster truck sign went up when Tyrebusters was the North Shore's 4x4 tyre specialist, back when the phone number was written 441-7681. The big red sign replaced it, but the yard, the trade and the number haven't moved.
That kind of staying power is rare in the tyre game. Two generations of signage on one shed at 141 Target Road says more than any slogan could.
